Parkside Bed and Breakfast, 74 Ellery, is generally available for booking all year-round, including holidays. Holidays and special events may require a minimum three day stay; Harvard Commencement week requires a four day stay from May 23 through May 31. Minimum four day bookings are required from mid-May through the end of May and minimum three day stays from September 1 to October 31. Weekend stays less than three days can only be booked three days in advance of the weekend. It is recommended that booking for June through October be made four weeks in advance. One night stays are assessed an additional $40.00 fee.

Guest Information Required: Names of all guests in the party, airline carrier and flight number or transport service and scheduled arrival time.

Coordinate arrival time within an estimated one hour window to ensure someone is there to meet you. Guests should call ahead when their arrival is being delayed. Upon arrival, a ten minute room orientation is necessary to familiarize guests with the room and the B&B.

Rate Schedule: Rates vary by room throughout the year from $150 to $210 per night. For Holidays, Special Events and Commencement Rates contact Parkside. Longer term rates are available.

Payments: Deposits of 50% are due upon booking. Final 50% payment is due on arrival day.

Amenities Included: private bath, continental breakfast, cable high speed internet connection, telephone, fax, TV, a/c, iron and board, hair dryer, room refrigerator and use of umbrellas.

Breakfast: The continental breakfast menu offers choices of regular or decaffeinated coffee and tea, English muffins with assorted jams and muesli cereal with milk and orange juice. Breakfast is served in-room.

Room Care:
White, 100% cotton sheets are a Parkside standard. A supply of towels is stored in each room in the event that extra are needed. Room tidiness is the responsibility of guests. Room freshening is made on a five day schedule. As a Green conscious B&B, we appreciate our guests' assistance in water conservation and in the reduction of our carbon footprint.

Cancellations or a reduction of the nights booked if made 14 days or more in advance of the arrival date: A $30 service fee is charged. Cancellations or reductions if made less than 14 days in advance of the arrival date: The entire deposit is non-refundable unless the cancelled dates are refilled. In the event the dates are refilled, and to the proportion that they are refilled, the deposit will be returned minus a $30 service fee.

Cancellations or a reduction of the nights booked at the time of Special Events, Commencements and Fall Foliage in September and October if made 30 days or more in advance of the arrival date: $100 service fee is charged. Cancellations or reductions if made less than 30 days in advance of the arrival date: The entire deposit is non-refundable unless the canceled dates are refilled. In the event the dates are refilled, and to the proportion that they are refilled, the deposit will be returned minus a $100 service fee.

Cancellations or a reduction of the nights booked at the time of the Boston Marathon, Harvard Commencement and Head of the Charles if made 90 days or more in advance of the arrival date: $100 service fee is charged. Cancellations or reductions if made less than 90 days in advance of the arrival date: The entire deposit is non-refundable unless the canceled dates are refilled. In the event the dates are refilled, and to the proportion that they are refilled, the deposit will be returned minus a $100 service fee.

One Night Cancellation: Payable in advance and non-refundable.

H1N1 Virus Policies and Precautions:
Parkside Bed and Breakfast has implemented the following precautions to protect our guests from the H1N1 virus.
• Cleaning of all common areas and guestrooms, sanitized with a hospital grade disinfectant that is used to kill numerous pathogens.
• Using micro fiber cloths in guest rooms and common areas. Micro fiber does a superior job of trapping and removing organic matter.
• Hand sanitizer gels will be available for your use in your guest room.
